Diagnostic
Your training gets finished. Does it get used?
Using behavioural science, the Diagnostic looks at one programme or function and gives you a written report on how well it is set up to change what people do at work.
£2,500 (no VAT charged) · delivered remotely.
One programme or function, the assessment, the written report and written Q&A.
Who it's for
For heads of L&D, training directors and the people who answer for one programme to a board or a CFO. You run a programme people complete and rate well, and someone has started asking what changed afterwards. You'd like a straight answer before you renew it, redesign it or defend it.
It isn't for you if you want a course built, a content library reviewed or a guaranteed number to put in a slide. It looks at one programme or function at a time, with up to 100 people taking part.
The problem
Most training reports completion and satisfaction, and never asks the harder question: did anyone behave differently on Monday morning?
Finance has EBITDA. Sales has pipeline. L&D has completion rates. A 100% completion rate is entirely compatible with nothing changing. That isn't a failing of the people in L&D. They work inside a system that has often asked them for the wrong number.
The Diagnostic starts on the question you'd actually want answered.
What's included
- The assessment, run in the app. Up to 100 people, the programme's learners and their managers, complete the Learning Velocity Index™ assessment online, in their own time.
- An organisation-level score. The Learning Velocity Index™ is a 0 to 200 score designed to show how well an organisation builds competence and resilience through training. You get one for the programme, with findings across its sub-dimensions.
- A written report. What the results suggest, where to look first and what to try next. It is a structured read of how your programme is set up to change behaviour, not an audit, a guarantee or a verdict on anyone's performance. An 8-page written report: your organisation's Learning Velocity Index™ score with its likely range, the balance between Competence and Resilience, findings for each sub-dimension, how far your people agree, how participants and outside raters see it differently, your top priorities to act on first, and a note on method.
- Written Q&A. Send your questions within 14 days of the report and Julian answers them in writing.
Timeline (indicative only)
- Enquiry. Email hello@pink-matter.co.uk and tell us which programme or function you have in mind.
- Kick-off by email. We agree the programme, who takes part and the dates. We sign a short agreement, including how your people's data is handled. Setup takes about a week.
- Assessment. Your people complete it in the app, over 1–2 weeks.
- Analysis. Julian reviews the organisation-level score and the findings, which takes a few days.
- Report and written Q&A. You receive the written report and can put your questions in writing.
About 3 weeks from kick-off to report. The whole thing runs remotely, by email and the app, with no meetings needed.
Questions
How many people take part?
Up to 100: the programme's learners and their managers. We agree who at kick-off.
What do you need from us?
A named contact, a programme or function to look at, and a way to invite the people taking part. That's it.
How is our data handled?
The assessment runs in the app. Before anything starts, we sign a data processing agreement covering what is collected, why, and how long it is kept.
Is this the same as the free self-assessment?
No. The free self-assessment gives one person's view. The Diagnostic looks at a whole programme, and Julian reads the results and writes the report.
What happens after the report?
You decide. Some teams take the report and run with it. If you'd like to talk about next steps, email us.
How does invoicing work?
Pink Matter Ltd invoices you on signature. Payment is by bank transfer, on 14-day terms.
